Calm Leadership. Structured Training. Lasting Trust

Train the Dog You Can Trust Anywhere

Real-World dog training in Surprise Arizona for obedient calm and reliable dogs.

Tired of Feeling Out of Control With Your Dog?

You love your dog—but dealing with constant bad behavior can be exhausting, frustrating, and even embarrassing. What should be enjoyable—walks, outings, or having people over—turns into stress and unpredictability.

Maybe your dog:

* Pulls nonstop on the leash

* Ignores commands unless they feel like it

* Jumps on guests or strangers

* Destroys things around the house

* Barks, lunges, or reacts to other dogs

* Won’t listen when it matters most

You’re not alone — and your dog isn’t “un-trainable.”

That’s where we come in.

At Kelly’s Elite Dog Training, we specialize in turning chaos into control through real-world, results-driven training. We don’t just teach commands—we build obedience that holds up in everyday life, whether you're at home, in public, or around distractions.

Every dog is different, which is why we tailor our training to fit your dog’s behavior and your lifestyle. Our goal is simple: to give you a calm, reliable dog you can trust anywhere—and the confidence to handle any situation.

Because you shouldn’t have to work your life around your dog… your dog should work with your life.

Meet Kai - The Dog That Started It All

Before Kelly’s Elite Dog Training existed, there was Kai.

Kai was extremely hyperactive and difficult to manage. He would escape kennels, tear up blinds and carpets, and constantly push boundaries. It felt overwhelming at times, and like many dog owners, I wasn’t sure how to fix it.

But instead of accepting that as “just the way he is,” I committed to learning, training, and understanding him.

Through consistency, structure, and the right approach, everything changed.

Today, Kai is calm, obedient, and completely reliable. He’s the kind of dog I can trust anywhere—at home, in public, around distractions—without hesitation.

That transformation is the foundation of everything we do.

Because I’ve been in your shoes, I don’t just train dogs—I help owners create real, lasting change they can see and feel every day.

Real Training. Real Results. A Dog You Can Trust Anywhere.

At Kelly’s Elite Dog Training, we take everything learned through real experience and apply it to help you create lasting results with your dog.

This isn’t about teaching a few commands that only work at home—it’s about building true obedience, clear communication, and a dog that listens in real-life situations.

Our training focuses on:

  • Reliable obedience on and off leash

  • Calm behavior at home and in public

  • Clear structure and communication your dog understands

  • Fixing problem behaviors at the root—not just managing them

Every dog is different, and that’s why we don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. We tailor our training to your dog’s behavior, personality, and your lifestyle—so the results actually stick.

But more importantly, we train you.

Because long-term success doesn’t come from a trainer controlling your dog—it comes from you knowing how to lead, communicate, and handle any situation with confidence.

The goal is simple: a calm, obedient, and reliable dog you can take anywhere—without stress, frustration, or second-guessing.

This is the standard we train to.

Whether you're starting with a new puppy or dealing with more challenging behaviors, our training is designed to give you real results that last.

Obedience Training

For dogs of all ages who need structure, discipline, and reliability.

This program focuses on building strong, consistent obedience so your dog listens the first time—at home and in real-world environments.

Training includes:

  • Sit, down, place, and recall

  • Loose leash walking (no more pulling)

  • Reliable commands around distractions

  • On-leash and off-leash obedience

Best for: Dogs that don’t listen, pull on walks, or lack basic control.

Result: A dog that is focused, responsive, and easy to handle anywhere.

Puppy Training

Start your dog off the right way and prevent bad habits before they begin.

Puppy training builds the foundation for a well-behaved dog by focusing on structure, boundaries, and clear communication from the start.

Training includes:

  • Basic commands and engagement

  • Crate training and structure

  • Preventing jumping, biting, and bad habits

  • Socialization and confidence building

Best for: Puppies and young dogs needing guidance and structure.

Result: A confident, well-behaved puppy that grows into a reliable adult dog.

Behavior Modification

For dogs with more serious or challenging behaviors.

We address the root cause of the behavior—not just the symptoms—so you get real, lasting change.

Training includes:

  • Reactivity (barking, lunging at dogs/people)

  • Aggression and dominance issues

  • Anxiety and lack of control

  • Destructive or obsessive behaviors

Best for: Dogs that feel “out of control” or difficult to manage.

Result: A calmer, more balanced dog you can confidently handle in any situation.

What Makes Our Training Different

We don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all programs.

Every dog is trained based on their behavior, personality, and your lifestyle. More importantly, we teach you how to communicate and lead—so the results last long after training is complete.

This is real-world training for real-life situations.

Client Testimonials

"Before getting our first German Shepherd, we had successfully raised two well-behaved dogs and believed we had a solid understanding of dog training. That assumption quickly changed. Fortunately, we found Kelly.

We enrolled Keava in Kelly’s two-week board and train program at approximately five months old, and the transformation was remarkable. The difference between the puppy we dropped off and the well-mannered, responsive dog we brought home exceeded our expectations.

We continued training with Kelly, and as Keava began to positively impact my daily life, we decided to pursue service dog training. We initially worked with a service dog organization; however, despite a veterinarian recommending Keava for service work, she was released from the program due to minor hip dysplasia noted on her X-rays.

Kelly’s commitment to her clients truly sets her apart. After learning of our situation, she took it upon herself to further her expertise and personally train Keava in the specific tasks I needed. What she accomplished for us went far beyond anything we could have anticipated.

Choosing to work with Kelly has been one of the best decisions we have made for our dogs, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication and skill."

"Working with Kelly was one of the best decisions we made for our four-year-old Goldendoodle, Benny. She helped him tremendously with impulse control and leash manners, and the transformation has been incredible. Benny is now such a joy to take out in public— he is much calmer, well-behaved, and happy. Kelly’s approach is both effective and thoughtful, and it’s clear how much she truly cares about the dogs she works with. We couldn’t recommend her more!"

Lori Baugh

"I rescued my dog, Kyro, and brought him home on December 31st. We were told he had some bad habits and no training. That was not an issue for us considering we already had another German Shepherd we raised from a puppy. After 4 days of having Kyro at home, I was on the phone with Kelly struggling and thinking I had made a huge mistake bringing home another dog. Kelly immediately told me to bring Kyro to her for a couple of days to have a break. She assured me that everything would be ok and he needed some structure. After a few days regaining my composure, we decided that Kyro would stay with Kelly for a 2-week board and train program. In that 2-week time frame he went from being stressed out and unmanageable, to being a dog with manners and could confidently be himself. After 2 weeks he came home to continue training with me. Kelly checked in on me every few days and was available for any training questions whenever I needed her. Kyro has grown with his manners and obedience and has become such a great addition to our family. We take him to farmers’ markets and stores and out to eat with us. He displays calm energy and is a great companion. Her expert guidance in his training and hands on approach made this possible for us to enjoy another dog and welcome him into his forever home."
